Recycling plants

Recycling process
The recycling of the waste takes place through a wet-mechanical process in a recycling plant. In this process, the waste is moved through a water bath. This washes the mineral components and removes the organic components. While the material is transported by a rotating spiral, additional built-in washing paddles serve to optimise the washing result. The washed mineral components are removed from the water bath by the built-in bucket elevator and pre-dewatered. The material is then transported to the material box via the built-in spiral conveyor. The resulting process water is either treated further or discharged after analysis and release.

1-chamber plants
These plants are used when mineral waste is to be washed. This includes, for example, the washing and removal of adhesions on sand and gravel.
For the recycling process, the waste first enters the washing chamber of the plant via the material feed. A rotating spiral moves the material through the water bath in the plant and segregates it in the process. In addition, water flows through the chamber in countercurrent. In the process, the undesired adhesions are removed and drained off together with the excess process water.
The washed material is removed from the washing chamber via a bucket elevator and fed to the spiral conveyor. The washed mineral components are discharged via the spiral conveyor.

2-chamber plants
These plants are used when mineral waste is to be washed and the organic content reduced. For the recycling process, the waste first enters the pre-washing chamber of the plant via the material feed. A rotating spiral moves the waste through the water bath in the plant and segregates it in the process (wet-mechanical process). In addition, water flows through the chamber in countercurrent. The organic components are removed and discharged together with the excess process water.
The pre-washed material is removed from the pre-washing chamber via a bucket elevator and fed into the main washing chamber. There, similar to the pre-washing chamber, the main washing process takes place, in which the material is again mechanically conveyed through a water bath. Here, too, water flows through the chamber in countercurrent to achieve an optimum wash-out result.
A second bucket elevator removes the washed material from the main washing chamber and feeds it to the spiral conveyor. The washed-out mineral components are discharged via the spiral conveyor.
